Summary : How does it do that?
I bought this product to polish up my Rolex, but haven't had the chance yet. I did try it out on my wedding band and it gave me a shine just like the day it was given to me.

I don't know how it does it, but it works.

Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths are the best I have used to clean my silver.

Summary : Conservation of antique brass items
Upton Studios LLC, a Conservation company that specializes in the conservation and restoration of finishes of 19th century lighting devices has used this non abrasive, low residue cleaner for many years with excellent resultz. "It is a staple in my choice of polishing cloths," quote Diane Upton-Hagan, owner, and Conservator of lighting devices for over 20 years.
However, this polish is unsutable for ormolu and faux ormolu finishes. These finishes are meant to maintain a matt appearence and Cape Cod is so good that it will reduce the original finish to an unintended shine.
